Truffle Scarf

This scarf would have turned out better with thinner yarn
 

Pattern:

Hook Size:  5.0mm or US H/8

Ch 200
Row 1: Ch3 (counts as first dc here and throughout) turn, dc in in 4th ch from hook, 2dc in each remaining st across (400dcs)
Row 2: Ch3 turn, dc in turning space, 1dc in next st, *2dc in next stitch, 1dc in next stitch rep from * until end (600dcs)
Row 3: Ch3 turn, dc in turning space, 1dc in next 2 stitches, *2dc in next stitch, 1dc in next 2 stitches rep from * until end (800dcs)
Row 4: Repeat Row 3 (1065dcs)
Weave in Ends
*Note: depending on your hooking tension, you may need more than one skein of yarn – you can even end this ruffle scarf when your yarn supply ends and it would still look good!
 

ARANAMI SHAWL Shawl with short rows



 I added some ties so would not slip off shoulders.
Present for my sister-in-law who is recovering from cancer treatment.

 I'm going to try to do this on the knitting machine.  It should work since you are only working on 18 stitches at a time.

The body is one piece.
Apron, hat skirt and vest are added on, (and nose).  She has a duck umbrella and a bag....so more to come :-) 20" on #3 circular needles and heavy yarn.
